DIY Paint Chip Bookmarks

Here’s an easy and inexpensive gift for your students, parent helpers or teammates. Who doesn’t love a paint chip DIY project?

Items to Gather:

  • Paint chips in seasonal colors
  • Paper cutter
  • Small hole punch
  • Raffia or ribbon
  • Stickers or stamps.

Step 1: Trim paint chips.

Step 2: Punch a hole at the top.

Step 3: Attach ribbon or raffia as shown.

Step 4: Decorate with stickers.

Other Tips/Suggestions:

These make cute, simple bookmarks even without shapes and letters.

I just used some silver stickers that I had on hand. I think they would be cute with glittered stickers, or other colors as well.

If you’re making a lot of these, you could use a stamp to decorate the squares; or have your students decorate with their own artwork to make a holiday gift for loved ones.
