- 5-10 Pieces of Scrapbook Paper
- Shamrock Cookie Cutter like this one at Amazon
- Green (or black) Thread
- Glue (such as Elmer’s)
- Clear (Scotch brand) or Gift Wrap tape
Get your necessary supplies ready.
With your shamrock cookie cutter, simply trace around it on the back of the paper. Then cut it out with scissors.
Using the cookie-cutter, continue tracing on the back of the rest of your scrapbook sheets. With five sheets, the garland didn’t go all the way around the doorway and to the ground, so use more if you want to.
Cut them all out and to make it fun (or more fun), use with different paper and patterns.
Once they are all cut out, apply glue, lay down the thread through the middle, and match up the different patterns to complete the double-sided shamrocks.
Once you’re done hang them up with tape or small tack nails. To make it easier to tape without tearing, leave a small space between the shamrocks and apply tape on that spot over the thread.
Enjoy the holiday and being Irish for a day (or longer if you happen to be Irish). Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
